The Winter Show Online Benefit

Many art fairs were postponed for the 2020-21 season because of the ongoing pandemic. The Winter Show, A Benefit for the East Side House, sought to maintain the continuity of its 67 year old Park Avenue Armory show by holding their annual event online. Building on our prior designs in collaboration with the Group M design studio, Trasaterra transformed the existing website into an immersive virtual space to host The Winter Show. The fair featured 80 exhibitors, 3D interactive gallery rooms from iKonospace, and an online catalogue we built so users could peruse over 1000 objects on view. The platform we created can be utilized to hold future fairs which may prove beneficial due to the ongoing uncertainty of holding in-person gatherings.
