Art21 Magazine

Art21 is a nonprofit organization chronicling contemporary art and artists. Art21 Magazine, published six times a year, provides regular columns, original editorial features, exclusive videos and interviews, and previously unpublished content from Art21’s rich archive all mirroring the organization’s approach to stimulating critical reflection.

In the redesign process one of our main goals was to organize and create a bold and simple editorial layout for the magazine articles. We’ve highlighted the current issue in the design so it can be located anywhere on the site. We also incorporated the frame element from the Art21 logo to reinforce the organization’s branding.
